Come, let’s try to understand the Tower of Babel with Rachel.
Dr. Wrenn, I really enjoyed listening to how you broke down each verse of scripture in Genesis 11: 1-9. How everyone was speaking in one unified Hebrew language in verse 1 and then journeying in the East where life for them began . In V 3 “And they said come” (Hebrew word “HAVA) “come now.” how they begin to settle in the land by building with brick. The language in the Hebrew, let us (brickify) bricks to build a big city and a huge tower with its head high in the sky. God came and kneeled down to view the city and saw that the people were unified, One people and one language working together. They found their place of dwelling and begin to settle in. they begin to establish themselves by making a city. They wanted to conquer the land.
